Dr Yong is a Certified Urogynaecologist and Female Pelvic Floor Reconstruction Surgeon who practices in both private and public hospitals in Melbourne.

He aims to raise awareness around pelvic floor issues and develop individualised treatment plans for his patients to improve their quality of life. He employs holistic patient care and frequently collaborates with a multidisciplinary team consisting of pelvic floor physiotherapists and specialist continence nurses, focusing on conservative management of pelvic floor disorders. Dr Yong has a special interest in minimal access surgery and offers various advanced laparoscopic or robotic pelvic floor reconstruction options to his patients.
